Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance
- Previous experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with AWS Services such as EC2, ECS, ECR, or similar (essential)
- Proficient in Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies
- Practical knowledge of Jenkins and Git
- Experience with scripting tools such as Shell, Python, Groovy, or similar
- Familiarity with Docker
Responsibilities
As an AWS DevOps Engineer, I will be responsible for:
- Designing, delivering, and supporting scalable AWS infrastructure
- Automating infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS Code Pipeline
- Integrating security tools into CI/CD processes
- Utilizing Chef or Ansible for server configuration and patching
- Administering and troubleshooting Linux systems
- Developing and deploying containerized applications with Docker and AWS
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams to align infrastructure with business needs
Description
This is a remote position with infrequent travel to London, offering a competitive rate of £340 - £360, inside IR35, for an initial 6-month contract. We are a Global Services Provider looking to enhance our team with skilled individuals who can contribute to a secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.
