Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in 2nd Line IT Support.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A valid DBS clearance will be required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Work within our ServiceNow platform to manage and resolve support tickets efficiently.
- Collaborate with our current embedded engineer to ensure a smooth handover period before their departure on 1st July 2025.
- Provide technical guidance and escalate issues where necessary.
- Ensure that IT systems remain operational and aligned with business needs.
Description
We are urgently seeking an experienced Second Line Engineer to provide on-site IT support at our Altrincham site. This part-time role requires the selected candidate to work on-site every Monday and Tuesday, ensuring smooth IT operations and technical issue resolution at the 2nd line level. This is an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. The site opens at 7 AM, so occasional early starts may be necessary.
