Software Developer, Graduate to Experienced

We are seeking graduates, postgraduates, and experienced professionals for a software engineering position starting in 2026. You will need eligibility for a high level of security clearance, which typically applies to British nationals with UK residence. We require a strong academic background, specifically a 1st or 2:1 degree in a numerate subject from a top university. A PhD is a plus but not mandatory, along with strong A-level or equivalent grades in Maths and Physics. You should have prior software development experience in C, C++, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript. It’s important that you have made significant contributions to at least one sizeable project, demonstrating your ability to engage in complex applications or systems beyond simple websites. We also value your capability to learn quickly and your motivation to provide technical solutions to real-world problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in technical and conversational English are essential. Relevant specialization in areas like embedded development, signal processing, or image processing will be advantageous, as will extracurricular software projects, internships, and a demonstrated interest in the commercial sector.
