Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in interaction design for complex software products, particularly in scientific and engineering software domains
- Demonstrable experience translating complex tasks into intuitive workflows and views, as showcased in your portfolio
- Experience scoping and validating designs through real user sessions that led to design refinements
- Proven ability to work closely with development teams and advocate for UX considerations
- Ability to establish UX design practices and patterns for reuse
- Familiarity with modern design tools and platforms (e.g., Figma)
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall UX design with a focus on interaction design for web applications
- Develop interaction models and track product evolution through ongoing refinements
- Collaborate with the development team, subject-matter experts, and company leaders to shape design strategies
- Re-examine and refine workflows with a modern design approach
- Create intuitive workflows and interfaces based on user feedback and testing
