Requirements

- Strong knowledge of numerical methods for solving ODEs and PDEs
- PhD in a STEM subject supported by a strong undergraduate degree from a respected university
- Good mathematical programming skills, ideally in C#
- Good technical communication skills

Responsibilities
In this role, I will require you to adapt existing numerical methods and develop new techniques to address various partial differential equations (PDEs) and ordinary differential equations (ODEs), including those that are developed in-house. You will implement these new methods in collaboration with our software team to create production-ready code. You will be part of a nimble company focused on the cutting-edge of simulation software, allowing you to develop genuinely new numerical methods and see your work through to commercialisation and beyond.
Description
Our engineering company has been a leader in providing software solutions for over 40 years, becoming the de facto standard in specific sectors. You will work alongside other numerical modelling developers with similar backgrounds and an experienced software development team. We embrace hybrid working, allowing for up to three days per week at home. With ongoing work on the next major software revision and a roadmap filled with exciting new features, there will be plenty of engaging projects for you to dive into.
