Requirements
Must:
- A strong degree (1st or 2:1) from a top university (Russell Group or similar) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable achievements with C++ in a commercial environment. Alternatively, significant contributions to an open-source project, a university dissertation project, or a long-term hobby project may be suitable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for a multicultural and multinational work environment.
- Full rights to work in the UK without time limit.
Responsibilities
You will join our caring and supportive team in Cambridge, where you will work on developing and supporting high-performance and low-level software that serves important clients around the world. Your responsibilities will span all aspects of projects, including initial design work and prototyping, as well as maintenance and testing. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers across various experience levels, receiving ample support as you grow your engineering knowledge. In time, you will also mentor newer members of the team. Alongside your core C++ work, you will gain proficiency in commercial-grade optimization and debugging tools, as well as Linux scripting languages.
