Requirements
Must:
- I possess a valid HGV Class 2 or 7.5 tonne Licence.
- I have a CPC certification.
- I hold a Digital Tachograph Card.
- I do not have major points or endorsements on my driving record.
- I demonstrate strong timekeeping skills and have an excellent work ethic, embodying a team player mentality.
- I am flexible when required.
- I have a checkable work history.

Responsibilities
- I will handle around 15 drops and collections per shift, involving palletised deliveries, with some handballing as necessary.
- I will follow planned routes to ensure timely arrivals.
- I will carry out daily walkaround checks, adhering to WTD and driver hour regulations.
- I will download my Tachograph card after every shift.
Description
Drivers Plus is actively seeking experienced HGV Class 2 and 7.5 tonne Day Drivers for ongoing contracts in the Leeds area. We have a contract for an ongoing driver for the right candidate. Our shift options include day work with starts between 06:00 am and 08:00 am, Monday to Friday, with around 10-hour shifts. We offer competitive pay rates for PAYE drivers, ranging from £13.40 to £16 per hour, and drivers will pay £1 per shift for insurance contributions. Additionally, we provide pension contributions for PAYE drivers, accrued holiday pay, free parking, access to a modern fleet of vehicles, and excellent pay rates.
