Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a data reporting environment, preferably within fast-paced retail, multi-site, or FMCG spaces.
- Strong experience with modern data platforms and services (Fabric, Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, SQL On-prem/Cloud).
- Expertise in building conformed and derived data models for integrations, reporting, and analytics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Fabric and devOps tools (git, infrastructure as code, code release deployment).
- Strong Cloud skills, preferably in Azure.
- Proficient in SQL and preferably knowledgeable in Python.
- Experience with Alteryx and data modeling.
- Familiarity with data governance tools, such as Purview or Unity Catalog.
- Ability to build relationships across all business levels and explain technical subjects appropriately.
- Azure cloud certifications such as AZ-900, DP-900, DP-203, DP-600, DP-700 are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage data enhancements and execute plans using the current toolkit and team skills.
- Contribute to technological architecture and strategy from a data perspective.
- Collaborate with Business Systems and Business Intelligence Teams to improve data accessibility and usability.
- Build and own data pipelines and data engineering artefacts.
- Develop solutions to facilitate internal and external data movement.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand key user groups and design decisions.
- Implement data engineering solutions to solve complex business problems across various projects.
- Support the organizations vision for data utilization in alignment with corporate goals.
- Assist with Data Management activities, including data cataloging and discovery.
