Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Python Developer who possesses strong commercial experience in their field. You should have proven experience with FastAPI for building efficient and scalable APIs. A solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices is essential. Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL is also required. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is important. We value a proactive and problem-solving mindset, along with excellent communication skills. You must be able to work independently in a remote setting, as well as collaboratively within a team. Crucially, you must have full eligibility to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer work permit sponsorship for this position.
Responsibilities
As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and efficient Python code. You will build and integrate robust APIs, with a strong focus on FastAPI. Collaboration is key, as you will work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and other engineers, to deliver exceptional data solutions. You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. You will identify and implement best practices for code quality, testing, and performance, and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members. Additionally, you will occasionally visit our office near High Wycombe (approximately twice a month) for key meetings and team collaboration.
