Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates with substantial experience in the following areas:
- Extensive use of technologies including Selenium, Specflow, Nunit, Extent-Reporting, and Page Object Model.
- Proficiency in C# programming language.
- Accreditation in ISEB/ISTQB Software Testing or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong experience as a test lead, particularly in functional and non-functional testing within an Agile (SCRUM) environment.
- A solid understanding of the full test process from a leadership perspective.
- A minimum of 10 years of strong test automation experience.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, HP ALM, and Jira.
- Experience with Visual Studio 2019 or higher.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Competence in MS Office, MS Project, and Visio.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodology.
- Experience in integrating automated test cases with CI/CD frameworks and tools, particularly Azure DevOps.
- A good grasp of risk management, defect management, task planning, and performance measurement against key metrics.
- Experience with browser compatibility testing tools like BrowserStack (desirable).
- Familiarity with XML and service-oriented protocols (desirable).
- ETL testing experience (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in leading test teams within an Agile/Spring environment.
- Extensive experience in writing detailed, structured test scripts employing best practice design principles.
- Full software development lifecycle experience with both structured and agile approaches.
- Excellent understanding of testing methodologies and analytical skills to identify potential defects.
- Proven track record in leading testing for web-based applications, including mobile devices and database testing.
- Experience in delivering test automation frameworks and tools.
- Demonstrable experience testing across various technology platforms, including Customer Relationship Management systems (e.g., Siebel, Dynamics), Enterprise Document Management Systems (e.g., OpenText), Web Portals / Online Application Forms, and data integration (desirable).
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Lead testing efforts, guiding the team in both functional and non-functional testing within Agile frameworks.
- Oversee the full test process, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain effective test automation frameworks, integrating with existing CI/CD processes.
- Facilitate risk management and defect management processes while planning tasks and tracking performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance testing workflows and achieve smooth integration between testing and software development activities.
- Ensure thorough documentation of test scripts and processes, fostering clarity and understanding among team members.
- Engage in the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and practices, driving innovation and efficiency within the team.
Description
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, requiring you to be onsite at our London office two days a week. The salary for this position is £72K, with potential for increases for the right candidate.
