Must:
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in desktop support or a 2nd line IT role. You should have proven expertise in supporting Apple Mac environments within a corporate setting, including knowledge of Jamf Pro, SCCM/Intune, and the Microsoft 365 suite. Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, Active Directory, Azure AD, OKTA SSO, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPNs) is essential. Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool is preferred. You must be able to work across multiple time zones and possess a strong grasp of ITIL practices and service management principles. Excellent communication skills are required to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Relevant technical certifications (Apple, Microsoft, ITIL, Jamf) or equivalent experience are a plus.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will provide 2nd line desktop support for both Mac and Windows users across the organization. I will act as a subject matter expert for Apple Mac environments, handling setup, troubleshooting, patching, and application support. I will utilize Jamf for Mac management and SCCM/Intune for Windows environments. My responsibilities will also include delivering face-to-face technical support at our Techbase, ensuring a high-quality, customer-first experience, supporting meeting room technology (AVI) for video conferencing and presentations, and providing remote support using tools like Bomgar. I will effectively manage tickets through ServiceNow, maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity, and provide administration and support for applications like Microsoft 365, Adobe Suite, and OKTA SSO. Furthermore, I will support mobile devices, telephony, and collaboration tools and contribute to knowledge base documentation for continuous improvement of IT support processes.
Description
This is a 2nd line, office-based role that offers a mix of face-to-face support via our walk-up "Techbase" (similar to a Genius Bar) and remote assistance for colleagues across multiple time zones. I am seeking someone who enjoys a hands-on, customer-facing position and is committed to ensuring that users have the necessary tools and systems to work effectively, particularly in managing and supporting Apple Mac devices.
