Requirements
Must:
- Expert Angular experience (v21 or recent versions)
- Strong frontend architecture and scalability experience
- Proficient in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD and best engineering practices
- Interest in emerging tech and AI is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead Angular frontend architecture and strategy across multiple teams
- Deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant frontend solutions
- Drive proof-of-concept initiatives and future-facing technology exploration
- Mentor and guide senior and mid-level engineers
- Improve frontend processes, CI/CD, and engineering standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence platform direction
Description
We are a stable, growing SaaS business located in Ruddington (Nottingham) looking for a Principal Angular Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on, strategic role, you will influence architecture, scalability, and engineering standards while delivering key frontend features. We offer a competitive salary of up to £110,000 along with a performance bonus, a 5% matched pension, private medical and dental insurance, 25 days holiday with the option to buy/sell up to 3 days, an EV scheme, free parking and EV charging, and opportunities for learning and development including in-house training and conferences. Our working model is hybrid, ideally 3 days per week on-site, with flexibility for the right candidate.
