Requirements
Must:
We seek a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in delivering and leading enterprise-grade integrated solutions. You should have a strong background in fast-paced, lean, Agile/DevOps environments and a broad architectural understanding across enterprise, networks, data, and security domains. Experience working with both AWS and Azure cloud environments is essential, as well as strong integration and API expertise, particularly with REST. You must be capable of producing detailed high-level and low-level design documentation, possess an innovative mindset balancing scalability, cost, and urgency, and have a strong focus on security best practices. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills are crucial, alongside a high attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will define the integration strategy and develop end-to-end solutions by collaborating with internal SMEs, Enterprise IT, and external design partners. You will ensure that all third-party designs align with our companys governance, standards, and architectural controls. Your tasks will include documenting, updating, and evolving integration design patterns, reference architectures, and best practice approaches. Youll produce high- and low-level technical designs across applications, platforms, data, and security. Additionally, you will lead the design and delivery of APIs, middleware, messaging, and operational integration processes, providing design assurance for third-party and migration integrations to maintain consistency with our architecture principles. Hands-on support for PoCs, especially around APIs and interface specifications, will also be part of your role.
Description
This position is based in Manchester with a salary range of £76,493 - £84,992, including a 10% car allowance and a 20% discretionary bonus. The role is hybrid, requiring 8 days a month onsite, and is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract with a streamlined one-stage interview process. As an Integration Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our integration strategy for licensing renewals within a complex and fast-moving technology landscape. Working closely with SMEs, engineering teams, and third-party partners, youll be instrumental in guiding the implementation of our integration solutions.
