Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a law firm, finance, accountancy, or educational environment. You should have a strong knowledge of Windows environments and Office 365, as well as previous exposure to Citrix. Familiarity with logging tickets with third-party providers is essential. We value professional communication skills and an understanding of workplace etiquette, alongside strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of Python or an interest in automation projects is a plus. IT certifications, such as MCP or CompTIA, or a willingness to work towards obtaining them, are also desirable.
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include providing technical support, maintaining systems and networks, assisting and training users, and contributing to ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Your role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and supporting the team's collaborative efforts.
Description
Our firm is located in Bromley and requires a minimum of three days a week in the office, with the option to work from home on other days. Occasional travel to local offices may be necessary, so a valid driving license and access to a car are preferred. We take pride in our collaborative and supportive culture, encouraging team members to develop their skills and pursue certifications, with the firm funding relevant training. Our team enjoys a relaxed atmosphere where individual interests are respected, whether it's football, movies, stand-up comedy, or English heritage. The interview process includes an initial CV review, followed by a Microsoft Teams call with the Head of IT and IT Support Team Leader, and a final on-site technical test with a face-to-face meeting with the team. References will be required before confirming any offers.
