Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience across cloud infrastructure, security, and data platforms
- Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, API Management, and Entra ID
- Experience with automation/infrastructure-as-code (PowerShell, Terraform, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset
- Desirable: Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-305)
- Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Fabric, AI services, or advanced analytics
- Desirable: Background in cloud migrations and complex environments
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure services across compute, storage, networking, and data platforms
- Lead migrations of on-premise systems to Azure
- Manage identity and access via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Implement secure API integrations using API Management
- Optimise cloud environments for performance and cost
- Support Microsoft Fabric and data platform integrations
- Deliver and govern Power BI solutions
- Contribute to AI and automation initiatives using Azure services
- Implement security best practices including Zero Trust and least privilege
- Manage Microsoft Defender suite across cloud and endpoints
- Support governance and compliance using Microsoft Purview
- Conduct risk assessments and security reviews
- Build automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform
- Monitor environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel
- Provide insights on performance, usage, and security
- Manage Azure licensing, billing, and cost optimisation
- Support financial planning and cloud spend forecasting
- Maintain clear documentation and governance standards
