Requirements
Must:
We require a candidate with at least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as SST, Pulumi, or Terraform is essential. You should also possess strong DevOps skills and be fluent in Linux, including knowledge of Docker, ECS/EKS, Git, and Python. Familiarity with cloud security best practices and infrastructure hardening is crucial. We value excellent communication and a strong ownership mindset. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Bonus qualifications include experience with Cloudflare, Azure, MongoDB Atlas, Nginx, Guacamole, NoVNC, or relevant cloud certifications.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Engineer, you will own and scale our AWS-based infrastructure, which supports a platform utilized by millions of cybersecurity professionals. Your key responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi. You will optimize systems for speed, uptime, and observability while implementing robust security and disaster recovery practices. Monitoring usage to develop strategies for reducing cloud spend is also part of your role. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and improve our CI/CD processes (using GitHub Actions). Enhancing deployment pipelines and automating infrastructure tasks will be a critical aspect of your work. Furthermore, you will guide teams on infrastructure decisions and evaluate new tools to boost performance and efficiency.
