- A test-first approach to Software Development.
- Proficiency in Web UI development (HTML5, CSS, JS, TypeScript, React, Angular).
- Experience in building, releasing, operating, and maintaining frontend Web UIs.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills as a team player.
- A willingness to experiment and learn quickly to create effective business solutions.
Responsibilities
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating and communicating openly with colleagues to write software and solve problems.
- Engaging directly with business stakeholders to elicit requirements, ensuring that the software delivered is fit for purpose.
- Designing solutions using common design patterns and various design tools and techniques.
- Implementing solutions following a test-first approach, delivering high-quality and maintainable work.
- Conducting peer reviews to ensure designs and code are fit for purpose, extensible, and reusable.
- Engaging with our Engineering Culture initiatives, such as Engineering Day, to drive Engineering culture across the bank.
