Requirements
Must:
- Relevant experience in conducting data science or model development in a business setting.
- Demonstrated experience with data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality assurance, particularly involving new data source systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience.
- Excellent programming skills, primarily in the Python/Anaconda suite (Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy).
- Understanding of financial markets and risk (e.g., Know Your Client, anomaly detection/Machine Learning, project management).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various teams and explain complex concepts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Drive model implementation from prototype to production, adhering to best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
- Facilitate the technical integration and migration of new, complex data source systems into existing data pipelines and model ecosystems.
- Develop and evolve platform reporting statistics/data to monitor ongoing model success.
- Engage key stakeholders to ascertain needs and requirements.
- Provide guidance on usage while translating needs for changes/new models into technical proposals.
