Requirements
Must:
- A good understanding of Information Security and Technology and how it is used within financial services.
- Comfortably work in large, complex institutions, directly facing key internal stakeholders, with an understanding of Operational Risk Management.
- Familiarity with IS and IT Risk Frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, ITIL, COBIT, and key IS/IT Regulatory laws such as DORA and EBA guidelines.
- Experience with end-user IT systems, particularly MS 365 apps; familiarity with reporting/business intelligence systems such as Tableau or Power BI is advantageous.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ITIL, ISO27001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor a specific business division's IS Risk Profile, including risk appetite breaches and remediation, along with Risk and Control assessment reviews.
- Perform and present results of targeted analysis on key IS Risks, contributing to the maturation of the IS Risk Framework, Policies, and Control Objectives.
- Evaluate the impact on the IS Risk Profile from major bank-wide IS strategies (e.g., ISR Glidepath, Security Strategy, Digitalization, Robotics, Google Cloud).
- Assess the operating/design effectiveness of core controls such as Identity and Access Management, Cryptography, and Data Leakage.
- Explore the impact of emerging IS risks and provide support to UKI/European Central Bank regulatory inquiries.

Our team, which consists of 37 members, monitors Information Security Risks across our Group, offering Senior Management and Regulators assessments of these risks.
