- Prior experience in finance, particularly in fixed income derivatives (exposure to interest rates swaps is a plus).
- Excellent programming skills, primarily in C++. Proficiency in Python, Lua, and SQL is a plus.
- Good numeracy skills, ideally in machine learning (ML).
- Strong communication abilities to interact across multiple teams and functions, along with excellent presentation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritize projects against tight deadlines.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive attitude, capable of handling multiple responsibilities enthusiastically.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of the core trading system library for our Global Markets Rates, Flow Credit, Commodities, and Emerging Markets Debt Trading business, focusing on leveraging internal ML platforms and tools to enhance processes and systems. Initial efforts will concentrate on improving trade flow and Request for Quote (RFQ) processes for the swaps desk.
- Collaborate closely with Traders, Quants, and other team members to further develop our trading and risk management platform.
- Support the build-out of the Global Markets strategic analytics platform in partnership with Corporate and Investment Bank Technology.
- Aid in the migration of Global Markets businesses to a single strategic analytics platform.
