Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for an experienced Infrastructure Leader with a minimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership or strategic role.
- I need someone with deep knowledge of hybrid infrastructure, cloud platforms, security, and automation tools.
- Proven experience in working with on-premise environments such as data centers, networking, storage, and virtualization is essential.
- Familiarity with hybrid environments and SaaS adoption strategies is required, as well as a track record of vendor management, including SaaS providers and cloud service partners.
- Experience in regulated industries, especially financial services or building societies, would be highly beneficial.
- I value strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels, translating technical concepts into business value.
Responsibilities
- As my Infrastructure Practice Lead, you will lead the strategic direction, design, and delivery of infrastructure services throughout the organization.
- You will define and champion infrastructure standards, frameworks, and best practices, ensuring that infrastructure solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
- I expect you to collaborate with our technical teams to oversee the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of infrastructure platforms.
- Your role will include building a high-performing infrastructure practice through coaching, mentoring, and skills development for the team.
- You'll be responsible for ensuring all infrastructure-related activities align with agreed technical standards, acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and security standards will be a priority, including leading regular audits and reviews.
