Security Architect

- Experience of working within a cyber security function. - Awareness of cyber security frameworks and best practices such as NIST, CAF and OWASP. - Experience providing deep technical insight to IT projects and improving cyber security posture. - Experience of analysing and reviewing security requirements and recommending processes, designs and policy to ensure security best practices are followed. - Knowledge or experience of security tools such as Microsoft Defender or Microsoft Purview. - Experience operating within a large ICT Service environment. - Awareness of technology roadmaps and how they support business strategy. - Knowledge of datacentre and cloud technologies. - Strong skills in communication, decision-making, strategy, technical design, understanding context, and influencing. - Proven experience of managing, motivating and continually developing staff to deliver strong performance. - High personal effectiveness and commitment to improvement. - Relevant degree or ICT qualification or equivalent senior-level experience. - Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security or similar are also accepted.
