Requirements
Must:
- Evidence-Based Design: Ability to design solutions based on evidence and user needs
- Prototyping Expertise: Experience with various prototyping tools and techniques
- Clear Communication & Collaboration: Proficient in presenting work and listening to feedback
- Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 guidelines and meeting AA standards
- Open Working & Engagement: Engages others throughout the design process for shared understanding
Responsibilities
- Create simple, fast, and accessible services for users
- Use research and analytics to understand user needs
- Design solutions that meet user requirements
- Develop prototypes and conduct testing
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and share knowledge
- Ensure designs align with the GOV.UK Design System
- Contribute to the wider Interaction Design community within DWP
