Data Science and Machine Learning Consultant - Manager

### We are looking for candidates who hold UK security clearance at the Developed Vetting level. You should possess both technical and business-focused skills and experience, allowing you to articulate the outcomes and value of your work. Essential skills and experience include: - Hands-on experience in applying data science or machine learning within the Defence/Security sector, public sector, or academia. - Understanding of various machine learning architectures and models (like Transformers, CNNs, Generative AI) and their applicability to client use cases. - Strong communication skills for preparing impactful reports and presentations, as well as conveying complex issues to diverse audiences. - Ability to build productive relationships with colleagues and clients. - Evidence of contribution to practice development, including developing new propositions, mentoring colleagues, and supporting bid work. Desirable experience: - Applying state-of-the-art techniques to derive insights from text, audio, imagery, or video content. - Experience with Data Science and Machine Learning services from cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Practical experience in Python and good practices for developing high-quality code. - Familiarity with common Python libraries for data management, statistical analysis, and machine learning. - Experience with popular machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. - Strong understanding of statistics and probability. - Knowledge of the machine learning lifecycle, from prototyping to scaling for enterprise use. - Familiarity with common workflow/pipelining frameworks (like Kubeflow or MLFlow). - Understanding of key considerations for Ethical and Responsible AI. ###
