Requirements
Must:
- We require experience in systems integration, IT, simulation, or training environments.
- We strongly prefer a Defence, MOD, or military background.
- We strongly prefer experience in Military or Simulation & Training environments.
- We need someone who is technically confident and comfortable working independently on site.
- We require strong communication skills and the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- We require a willingness to travel to MOD sites across the UK.
- We require eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).
- We consider experience working in secure environments highly beneficial.
- We welcome experience or interest in gaming or simulation technologies.
- We welcome experience or interest in VR and immersive environments.
- We consider knowledge of DIS, HLA, and CIGI desirable, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- We execute laboratory and on-site deployments of complex systems across multiple UK locations.
- We install and integrate hardware, workstations, furniture, physical layouts, network components, applications, and operating system imaging.
- We integrate and configure specialist hardware, including VR and simulation systems, display and visualisation solutions, and peripheral and interface devices.
- We collaborate closely with IT and Network Engineers to configure servers and network infrastructure.
- We deliver secure, robust, and high-performing systems.
- We produce clear technical documentation, including configuration details, installation and integration procedures, and guidance for future maintenance and upgrades.
Description
We are a Bristol-based company delivering advanced Defence and simulation systems across MOD sites in the UK. This is an on-site role with UK travel, offering hands-on technical work in real-world environments rather than desk-based duties. We provide a collaborative engineering environment where you can apply Defence, military, gaming, or simulation experience to high-impact projects and work on cutting-edge training and simulation technologies.
