Requirements
Must:
- Robust experience in IT architecture, ideally in eCommerce.
- Strong Azure cloud experience plus modern web tech (Blazor/.NET, React/Next.js) and API-first design (REST/GraphQL).
- Expertise in Headless Commerce/MACH or composable architecture.
- Desirable: Background in energy, charity/non-profit, or government digital services; experience in high-compliance environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and own a cloud-native eCommerce architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Lead integration of payments (BACS, Faster Payments, vouchers), third-party APIs, and CRM/ERP systems.
- Embed security and compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS, government-level standards) across the platform.
- Act as senior technical authority for stakeholders, driving the technology roadmap and continuous improvement.
Description
We are seeking a Solution Architect for our eCommerce platform based in Peterborough, offering a hybrid work environment (2-3 days a week on site). This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with a base salary of approximately £75,000 pro-rata plus benefits. You will play a crucial role in shaping a modern, secure, and scalable Azure-based solution that meets high-impact B2B2C needs.
