Requirements
Must:
- A strong track record of successful end-to-end IT Infrastructure project delivery in global environments.
- Experience in delivering multiple large-scale projects in areas such as cloud, data centre, networking, end-user technology, or security.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and global programme structures within the banking sector.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior business and IT stakeholders.
- Banking or financial services sector experience is highly desired.
Responsibilities
As the Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of critical technology change initiatives. This means working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with our global technology strategy. Typical project areas will often involve:
- Core banking infrastructure upgrades, including hardware modernization, system resilience, and disaster recovery projects.
- Data centre migrations and hybrid cloud transitions (AWS, Azure, private cloud).
- End User Computing refresh programs, such as Windows 10/11 upgrades, VDI rollouts, and Office 365/M365 migrations.
- Network and security upgrades, including WAN/LAN refresh, SD-WAN, and firewall/security infrastructure enhancements.
- Cybersecurity initiatives such as IAM (Identity and Access Management), SIEM integration, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Infrastructure for regulatory change programs (e.g., Basel III, MiFID II support).
- DevOps enablement projects, including CI/CD pipelines and tooling standardization.
