- 5+ years of commercial experience with PHP (preferably Symfony/Laravel) and TypeScript/JavaScript (preferably with Vue).
- Strong foundations in relational databases (MySQL, Postgres).
- Experience working with REST APIs and integrating third-party systems.
- Passion for technology and a desire to develop skills in frontend, backend, and DevOps.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and communicate progress effectively.
- Strong capability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bonus Skills:
- DevOps experience, maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Mobile/React Native development experience.

Responsibilities
- Work across our entire tech stack, including Laravel-powered backend APIs, Vue/TypeScript UI features, and React Native mobile app development.
- Collaborate directly with our founder and CTO, providing support and insights as our primary developer hire.
- Engage in the complete development process, shaping features and implementing your ideas while refining our processes.
- Drive modernization of legacy modules (PHP/Laravel/Symfony + Vue 2 to Vue 3).
- Improve code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Own key API integrations and external service connections.
- Review pull requests and mentor team members.
- Enhance CI pipelines, deployment reliability, and developer tooling.
- Maintain system observability using Sentry and monitoring tools.
