Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in a technical project manager role, with experience in complex technical projects
- Educational to BSc level in a Technical, Engineering, or related subject
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience guiding and mentoring colleagues
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong understanding of IT software and infrastructure
- Database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Experience in version control systems (PlasticSCM, Git, Hg, or other) and project management tools (such as YouTrack) is desired, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Drive project success by monitoring progress across multiple technical initiatives and keeping teams on track
- Prioritise and adapt as circumstances change, ensuring the most important tasks are tackled first
- Develop and maintain roadmaps that guide the team and align with business goals
- Maximise efficiency by ensuring resources are used effectively and projects are delivered on time
- Implement and refine processes, making adjustments to keep workflows smooth and productive
- Identify risks and opportunities, applying business awareness to protect and enhance project outcomes
- Keep the team focused and aligned, using your structured approach to bring clarity and direction
- Regularly review and improve workflows, processes, and resource allocation
- Document and report progress clearly, ensuring stakeholders are informed
- Champion quality and excellence, inspiring the team to deliver their best work every day.
