Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in sales or business development
- Background in cyber security or technology is preferred
- Confident communicator with strong relationship building skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing ability
- Ability to explain complex cyber security concepts in simple terms
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
- Comfortable using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and SOC 2
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Cyber Security or a related field is preferred, but not essential
- Proactive and driven
- Resilient in a target-based environment
- Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident
- Strong listener who understands client needs
- Able to adapt in a fast-moving sector
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and market research
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects within the cyber security and technology sectors
- Present and explain cyber security services clearly to clients at all levels
- Prepare tailored proposals and deliver engaging sales presentations
- Negotiate confidently and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Keep up to date with cyber security trends and compliance requirements
- Work closely with our Cyber Security teams to create accurate and valuable solutions for clients
- Log all activity, opportunities and interactions in Salesforce CRM
- Support wider sales strategy and marketing campaigns with ideas and market insight
