Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in desktop or field support roles. You should have a strong understanding of Windows 10/11 environments, device builds, and deployment processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with previous experience working in secure or regulated environments such as policing, public sector, or defense. A full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites is required, with pool cars provided for convenience. Valid NPPV3 clearance is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on, field-based role, you will provide 2nd and 3rd line support to end users during the Windows 11 deployment. Your responsibilities will include building, configuring, and deploying Windows 11 machines across the organization. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical and desktop issues efficiently, ensuring an excellent customer experience in user-facing environments. Additionally, you will support end users, resolve their queries, and work collaboratively with project teams to ensure a smooth rollout delivery with minimal disruption during migration.
Description
This position is a 12-month contract based in Gloucester, with the flexibility for field-based work.
