Requirements
Must:
- Must possess SC Clearance
- Proven experience in building and deploying SPFx solutions
- Strong proficiency in modern React development
- Experience with Microsoft's Fluent UI design system
- Knowledge of SharePoint REST API for integration with SharePoint lists and libraries
- Familiarity with modern tooling such as Node.js, npm, webpack, gulp, and Visual Studio Code
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Skills in CSS/SCSS for styling and responsive design implementation
- Understanding of HTML5, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility
- Proficient in unit testing with Jest or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with Git workflow and collaboration practices
- Understanding of SharePoint Online architecture and security model
- Experience with SharePoint lists, libraries, and content types
- Knowledge of SharePoint permissions and user context
- Familiarity with PnP JS library for SharePoint operations
Responsibilities
- Support a migration project from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online
- Focus on functionality and modernisation rather than data migration
- Redevelop or enhance existing features for the cloud environment
Description
This role is with a leading technology consultancy on an initial 4-month contract based remotely, with occasional travel to London for team and customer meetings. We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer who is capable of adapting on-premises solutions for SharePoint Online, utilizing modern SharePoint development practices. The contract rate is between £500 and £550 per day (inside IR35).
