Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in developing web applications in C#, ASP.NET MVC v4, v5
- Proven experience in developing presentation layers using ASP.NET, HTML 4/5, Angular, JSON, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) and automating deployments
- Hands-on experience with ADO DevOps for source control, build/release pipelines, and deployment automation
- Proven experience in relational database design and implementation
- Proven experience in developing web services REST/SOAP
- Strong understanding of the latest security and OWASP standards
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- A strong team player
Responsibilities
- Code complex web-based solutions within Visual Studio using C# ASP.NET MVC
- Work with an ORM such as Entity Framework and Dapper
- Design, build, and maintain SQL Server databases using SQL
- Create, maintain, and optimise Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
- Write T-SQL programming and create stored procedures
- Follow recognised web standards for security and resilience
- Interpret business requirements and map them to a technical solution
- Provide documentation at all stages of the project delivery to support the build of the solution
- Follow agreed coding standards and best practices
- Adhere to project timelines and budgets
- Provide realistic estimates for programming hours for projects and tasks
- Actively contribute in meetings to set the technical direction of the team
- Support the Business Analyst with technical documentation
Description
We are looking for a .Net Developer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Home/Newport Pagnell, with opportunities to work onsite two days per week. This role offers a competitive salary between £60,000 - £66,000 plus benefits. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable solutions across our client platforms. You will work collaboratively with our delivery team and Business Analysts, ensuring exceptional performance, usability, and maintainability of our solutions.
