Requirements
Must:
- Cisco Certifications - CCNP or CCIE
- Professional Services Leadership
- Technical Escalation & Delivery Oversight
- Pre-Sales & Solution Design
- Proven senior technical leadership in a network consultancy, MSP, or systems integrator
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking technologies: routing, switching, wireless, security, and UC
- Track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the network engineering strategy aligned with business growth and customer needs
- Ensure high-quality solution design, delivery, and operational standards across all projects
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-skilled engineering team, fostering technical excellence and accountability
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex customer issues
- Work closely with Pre-Sales and Support teams to translate requirements into robust, commercially viable solutions and ensure smooth project handovers
- Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and methodologies
Description
We are seeking an experienced Head of Network Engineering to lead the technical direction, delivery, and growth of a high-performing engineering team at our leading network consultancy and managed services provider located in Worcester. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on complex network challenges, team development, and delivering outstanding client outcomes. Our salary range is £75,000 - £90,000, along with benefits.
