Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
- Proven background in DevOps / DevSecOps consulting roles
- Hands-on experience integrating SAST and DAST tools into pipelines
- Solid understanding of secure software delivery practices
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration
- Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies
- Familiarity with automation and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Experience with security tools (desirable)
- Knowledge of Azure cloud architecture (desirable)
- Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Integrate security tooling (SAST/DAST) into build and release pipelines
- Embed DevSecOps controls, including vulnerability scanning, secure build gates, and policy enforcement
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to enhance build, test, and deployment workflows
- Improve feedback loops and release quality
- Implement DevOps best practices across automation, version control strategies, monitoring, and release processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, deployment, and security issues
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to internal teams
Description
We are a dynamic company located in Milton Keynes, seeking an experienced DevOps Consultant on a part-time contract basis, working 2-3 days a week. This role is critical in enhancing our secure CI/CD pipelines within an Azure-based environment. We offer a competitive day rate of £550 - £650. By joining our team, you will play a key part in fostering security-first DevOps practices and driving automation and best practices within our development teams.
