Cyber Engineer

We are looking for candidates who meet the following essential skills and experience: - Ability to work 2 days per week in Brighton - A strong hands-on technical experience of at least 2 years with Microsoft Security and infrastructure services, including Defender suite, Sentinel, and Azure Security Center. - At least 5 years of experience in technical infrastructure support at a Network or Systems Engineer level, with experience in IaaS, PaaS, Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (vNets), Azure Storage technologies, Azure Networking, SQL services, and Azure Alerts and Monitoring configuration. - Experience with hybrid directory services using Azure Active Directory and Windows AD. - Strong hands-on experience in integrating and supporting third-party cyber solutions with Windows endpoints and servers within Microsoft cloud infrastructure, including Cisco firewalls and ISE, Forcepoint or similar secure web gateway/CASB solutions, Mimecast, IDS/IPS solutions, Network Detection and Response (NDR), Qualys vulnerability detection, and management platforms or similar. - A highly practical and can-do attitude, demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security risks. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - A passion for cybersecurity and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. Desirable skills include: - Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI. - Any relevant Cyber certification such as CISSP, or other relevant qualifications like (ISC) ISSEP or SSCP, CompTIA Security, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, etc.
