Requirements
Must:
- I require 5 years of experience in systems testing, both manual and automation.
- You should have at least 2 years of experience in performance, stress, and load testing, preferably using JMeter or similar tools.
- Strong automation experience using Java or JavaScript with Selenium or Webdriver.IO is essential.
- Familiarity with Cucumber BDD frameworks is a must.
- Good SQL skills, including the ability to create and manage tables.
- Experience testing interactive, data-driven websites is necessary.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project and test management is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player attitude are required.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will develop and execute automated and manual test scripts across a range of interactive, data-driven websites.
- You will gather requirements, create detailed test plans, and ensure compliance with defined standards and UAT/ISO processes.
- Conducting performance, stress, and load testing using tools such as JMeter will be part of your responsibilities.
- You will contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines utilizing Git and CI tools.
- Creating and maintaining high-quality test documentation throughout the test lifecycle is expected.
- You will collaborate closely with developers to identify, report, and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- It is important to follow recognized web standards for security, resilience, and performance.
Description
We are offering a 6-month contract for an Automation Tester, with a hybrid work opportunity where you will be required to be onsite in Newport Pagnell for 2 days a week. The rate for this position is £300 per day (Inside IR35). You'll be working with a leading organization, closely engaging with developers, business analysts, project managers, and end users to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software systems. This hands-on role will involve taking ownership of both automated and manual testing activities, ensuring quality across our web applications and performance-critical systems.
