Requirements
Must:
- Experience of successful delivery within an IT project environment, working within the IT development lifecycle and understanding of agile methods
- Experience of assessing IT risk and security implications of new or enhanced solutions
- Experience of using cloud-based technologies to help drive business success
- Understanding of operational resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Preferred: Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience of DevOps processes and technologies
- Experience working in financial services or a regulated environment
- Experience working with Managed Service Providers in the delivery of IT Services
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a wide range of IT services for the Bank
- Work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders within the project delivery lifecycle
- Act as IT Service/Application Owner, providing ongoing support for the Banks IT Services
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Support the deployment of infrastructure to enable new solutions for the bank
- Provide direction to key stakeholders during planning, implementation, and go-live phases of IT services
- Deliver technical leadership on cloud readiness and migration activities
- Resolve complex incidents and problems across Danske Banks IT infrastructure
- Manage the development of the infrastructure and application portfolio, ensuring robust technology roadmaps
- Apply security governance frameworks and IT risk management practices to IT solutions
- Represent Danske Bank UK at Infrastructure and Enterprise Change Advisory Boards
- Facilitate penetration testing and cyber assessments
- Engage with vendors to plan future development and upgrades
- Document and handover technical solutions
- Promote training, simplification, and engineering best practices
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in areas such as cloud, IT security, application development, and DevOps
