Requirements
Must:
- Experience in general machinery/plant repairs.
- Welding and fabrication experience desirable.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel and work away.
- Flexibility, reliability, and self-motivation.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Understanding of the importance of quality customer service.
- CSCS and Health and Safety qualifications are desirable but not mandatory (training will be provided).
- Availability for weekend work when required.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on concrete equipment.
- Travel to customer sites to provide on-site service and support.
- Collaborate with the team and work independently as required.
- Make sound decisions to ensure the quality of customer service.
- Maintain a flexible and reliable work schedule.
- Use a mobile app to create job reports.
- Conduct welding, fabrication, and machinery/plant repairs as needed.
Description
We are a busy concrete equipment supplier based in Herefordshire, currently looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our team. We offer competitive benefits including a company pension and free parking. Our ideal candidate will have experience in concrete equipment and general machinery repairs, along with a full driving license. Our team values flexibility, reliability, and self-motivation, and we provide uniforms and PPE as required.
