Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience working within UK central government environments
- Strong knowledge and practical application of GDS principles and service standards
- Demonstrable experience using mixed research methods (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics)
- Expertise in synthesising complex research data into clear insights
- Experience presenting findings and engaging with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to advocate for user needs and embed user-centred design practices
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
- Experience contributing to service assessments and GDS audits
Responsibilities
- Join a multidisciplinary User-Centred Design (UCD) team
- Ensure services are designed around user needs
- Align design processes with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and best practices
- Conduct user research using various methods to gather insights
- Synthesize research data and present findings to stakeholders
- Advocate for user needs within the design process
- Contribute to service assessments and GDS audits
Description
We are a global leading IT consultancy seeking an experienced User Researcher to join our multidisciplinary User-Centred Design team for a central government client. This remote role offers approximately £450 per day outside IR35 for a duration of 6 months.
