Requirements
Must:
- An active SC clearance is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developing and deploying Cross Domain Solutions, including design, use, testing, and assurance.
- Sound understanding of the NCSC patterns and guidance for safely importing and exporting data.
- Ability to assess the product marketplace for solutions that meet functional component requirements.
- Capability to convey technical requirements to software developers for bespoke components.
- Ability to understand user requirements and translate these into effective solution designs.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in presenting complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with both hardware- and software-based cross domain approaches.
- Strong knowledge of cryptography and public key infrastructure.
- Familiarity with MOD systems and assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Cross Domain Solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Assess and select appropriate products from the marketplace to fulfill solution requirements.
- Translate user requirements into solution designs that meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure technical requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
- Present technical information in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical stakeholders.

We ideally seek candidates with experience working alongside the MOD and Defence Digital processes and services, supporting development in a Secure-by-Design methodology, and familiarity with Data-Centric Security principles. Experience with Hardsec Cross Domain appliances and cloud deployment automation is also highly valued, as well as strong networking skills.
