Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in the IT industry and with Siebel.
- A strong understanding of Siebel 6 architecture and deployment methodologies is preferable.
- Experience in the entire software development life cycle and Siebel application support is essential.
- Proficiency in developing solutions using Siebel configuration, EAI, EIM, and PLSQL.
- Candidates must possess strong collaborative skills to manage Development and SIT environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale Siebel Enterprise installations is necessary.
- Programming skills in various languages to develop customized tools for maintaining and supporting the application are required.
- The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and supporting vendors.
- Candidates should have troubleshooting capabilities for any integration-related issues.
- Team management skills are preferred.
- Support for end-to-end testing and migration of Siebel changes from Development to SIT is expected.
- Candidates must understand and provide performance tuning solutions for online and batch integrations.
- An excellent knowledge of Siebel interfaces and PLSQL is required.
- Update technical design documents and adhere to release and change management processes.
Responsibilities
- I expect the candidate to work within a Linux environment.
- They should be experienced with Siebel configuration, Assignment Manager, EIM, workflows, Business Services, and eScript.
- Integration experience using EAI, VBC, web services, and SOAP is necessary.
- A strong knowledge of the Siebel Data Model, databases, and SQL Server/Oracle is desired.
- Knowledge and experience with Siebel Public Sector or any base application is beneficial.
- Candidates should have experience with at least one vertical application, such as banking or finance modules.
- Integration experience with Siebel Out of the Box adapters, web services, VBC, EBC, and JMS queues is desired.
- A thorough understanding of the Siebel schema and performance tuning is required.
- There should be a good exposure to Siebel Development, including business modeling, requirement gathering, analysis, configuration, and integration for Siebel Enterprise.
- Candidates should have complete exposure to each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with Siebel Tools and Client in configuration and customization of Siebel Objects at various levels is essential.
- Good oral and written communication skills in both technical and client-facing situations are key.
- Experience in development within Siebel is preferred, along with excellent knowledge and understanding of requirement gathering and analysis.
Description
We are a global IT consultancy seeking a Siebel Architect/Developer for a 6-month contract based in Liverpool (Hybrid), offering £700-£800 per day. All applicants must hold an active SC clearance. The role will require a significant amount of travel to Liverpool initially for an in-person handover from our other Siebel developer, followed by occasional travel thereafter.
