Requirements
Must:
- All applicants must hold an active SC clearance.
- Strong capability to identify security gaps across systems and processes.
- Experience in creating and applying risk models.
- Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive cyber security test strategy.
- Strong understanding of Azure security risks, particularly related to Azure Storage.
- Knowledge of immutable backups and secure data retention strategies.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning, including full restore testing.
- Expertise in multi-factor authentication (MFA) setup and testing.
- Competence in vulnerability management - scanning, prioritization, and remediation validation.
- Ability to design and interpret security dashboards for monitoring and reporting.
- Awareness of system throttling and its security implications.
- Willingness to upskill the team in basic Cybersecurity testing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing on systems, APIs, and applications.
- Utilize languages such as JavaScript and Python in your testing processes.
- Work with tools including Confluence, Jenkins, Jira, and Splunk.
- Share knowledge on authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.).
- Collaborate with teams, especially in the healthcare sector.
Description
This position is offered at a daily rate of £350-£400 (inside IR35) for a duration of 9 months. You will work onsite in Leeds on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with remote work on other days.
