Requirements
Must:
- Familiarity with public sector regulations, compliance (e.g., GDPR, FOIA), and procurement processes
- Proficiency in Salesforce particularly Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions
- Strong grasp of Data Cloud, MuleSoft, OmniStudio, and Agentforce for automation and integration
- Experience with integration technologies, master data management, and familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
- 7 years Salesforce platform experience
- Proven experience leading technical delivery on enterprise Salesforce programmes
- Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, integration architecture, and data modelling
- Strong understanding of Salesforce development patterns and governor limits
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git-based workflows)
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, data platforms, or external systems
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is desirable
- OmniStudio Developer/Consultant and Application Architect certifications preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange products and implementation experience preferred
- Ability to design secure solutions in high-profile public sector environments
- Competence in leading design sessions and presenting design options to clients
- Extensive experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Willingness to obtain Security Clearance if not currently held
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders within our Public Sector clients
- Lead communication and stakeholder management between the client team and the development team
- Ensure scalable, best-practice solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Evaluate and translate business and technical requirements into well-designed Salesforce solutions
- Responsible for low-level/detailed technical design including Flows, OmniScripts, LWC components, security models, and object models
- Contribute to high-level technical designs and approaches with support from Solution Architects
- Identify and mitigate technical design risks, ensuring compliance with Salesforce platform limits
- Collaborate with DevOps and Release Management to deliver software components through the project pipeline
- Act as technical authority across one or more programmes
- Direct and mentor diverse teams in both technical and non-technical aspects
- Own solution integrity, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and best practice design patterns
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards across teams
- Provide guidance on integration patterns and approaches
- Articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Support pre-sales activities including solution shaping and technical input to proposals
- Contribute to internal growth through initiatives, knowledge-sharing, and the development of strategic assets
