Must:
We are looking for candidates with an active SC level security clearance. Having experience with technologies such as Node.js, ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, npm, AWS, Jenkins, Terraform, and PostgreSQL is ideal. However, we are open to strong candidates with adjacent skill sets, as our technical stack is flexible for the right individual.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineering Lead, I will take on a hands-on leadership role, actively supporting and guiding our team of seven through complex technical challenges. My key responsibilities include:
- Providing clear technical direction and mentorship to the team.
- Applying sound judgment to make informed technical decisions.
- Driving improvements in system documentation, team processes, and overall developer experience.
- Delivering direct, constructive feedback to foster both individual and team growth.
- Promoting a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
Description
This position is remote but will require travel to Bristol for team meetings once every other week. The role is initially until the end of December, with the possibility of extension afterward. Compensation is between £550 and £600 per day, classified as inside IR35.
