Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of computer networking, including protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across various platforms using tools like Microsoft Office applications and specialised diagnostic utilities.
- Experience supporting hardware components such as computers, peripherals, and network devices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across a diverse platform of vending machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity such as LAN, VPN, firewall, and DNS configurations.
- Assist end-users via help desk channels, ensuring prompt resolution of problems while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and other identity management tools.
- Document support activities using ticketing systems, ensuring accurate records for future reference.
