Requirements
Must:
- Some experience in an IT support role, helpdesk, or MSP environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and common desktop applications
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
- A genuine passion for tech and helping people
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to use de-escalation tactics or a willingness to learn for interacting with disgruntled customers
- A problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new things
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- A full clean UK driving licence for occasional site visits
- Commitment to learning the Daffodil Values and representing our company professionally
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line technical support via phone, email, and remote tools
- Log and manage support tickets in our helpdesk system
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install and maintain Microsoft 365 apps and user accounts
- Manage password resets, permissions, and access control
- Assist with basic network and connectivity troubleshooting
- Escalate complex issues to 2nd Line Engineers when needed and learn from them
- Document fixes and contribute to our internal knowledge base
- Deliver excellent customer service every time
