Requirements
Must:
- Clean & valid manual UK Driving License
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with Point of Sale devices
- Knowledge of Cielo and Microsoft tablets, Lenovo/Dell Desktops and Laptops, KVM switches, Routers
- Understanding of the Windows operating system and its associated technologies
- Knowledge of peripherals and their maintenance (printers, scanners)
- Be SLA focused and familiar with call management products
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Awareness of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance is desirable
- Good customer-focus and communication skills
- Availability to work away from home if required
Responsibilities
- Support Post Office Branch hardware break-fix/swap activities and occasional Branch Change Requests (commissioning, decommissioning, relocation) across a specific geographical area (Shrewsbury)
- Attend to work activities assigned daily by a Central Dispatch Team based on criticality, service level, and location
- Ensure punctual attendance at the allocated Branch locations for resolution within agreed service levels
- Perform device and connectivity troubleshooting
- Conduct device imaging and configuring
- Execute device swap outs and connectivity cabling, Wi-Fi device installations, moves, and decommissions
- Manage device stock control and asset management
- Provide proactive maintenance, user familiarization, and guidance
- Handle cable management
- Act as smart hands and eyes
- Liaise with other support teams as needed

This is a field-based/mobile role that requires frequent weekend work on a rota basis.
