Requirements
Must:
- Degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or electrical engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in an advanced support role or equivalent
- Customer-facing experience
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Eligible for high-level UK Security clearance
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team
- Ability to effectively communicate across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office
- Several years of ITO operational and/or engineering experience
- Relevant experience with Cloud Foundation Automation (Aria Automation, vRA) and Cloud Foundation Operations Orchestrator (Aria Orchestrator, vRO) development
- Experience with Open Text Operations Orchestration and/or Red Hat Ansible development
- XML knowledge
- Working knowledge of platforms (Wintel, Linux and Virtualization), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS), and database environments
- Excellent understanding of ITSM/ITIL framework and processes
- Proficient knowledge of DXC workflow tools
- Experience with Java, Python, Windows PowerShell, Perl, Linux Shell, SQL scripting, or VBScript is desirable
- Understanding of storage and backup technologies.
Responsibilities
- Identify, architect, design, and implement new automation workflows that meet client requirements
- Integrate with ES standard management tools
- Perform flow and software modifications after solutions are in production
- Install and upgrade infrastructure components
- Promote standardization and automation during implementation
- Ensure implementations align with engineering repositories (Playbooks, CMR) and Portfolio websites/repositories
- Leverage existing deliverables/templates to satisfy new work requests
- Ensure applicable content standards are met
- Log peer review deliverables
- Store engineering collateral in approved configuration management repository
- Produce/review/participate in Low Level Designs based on High Level Designs and client requirements
- Ensure projects and tasks are performed with the highest quality and in accordance with documentation and predefined timelines
- Implement cloud automation according to technical plans, cost, and timeframe
- Customer satisfaction and deliver on commitments.
