Requirements
Must:
- UK national or sole British citizen with no dual nationality
- Minimum 10 years of residence in the UK
- Experience in developing software and applications in Java
- OO development skills in C# and C++
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and system engineering practices, including Continuous Integration and DevOps
- Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in Docker, OpenShift, Python, Java, JBoss, and C++
- Knowledge of ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ, Apache, and REST interfaces
- Skills in PKI, Token Authentication, Shell Scripting, and JSON
- Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases
- Proficiency in Eclipse, Jenkins, Atlassian suite, Maven, and GIT
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexibly within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Attention to detail and a pragmatic attitude towards work
Responsibilities
- Interacting with project roles to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction
- Advising customers on the latest technologies and methodologies
- Designing and implementing innovative solutions to customer problems using automation
- Understanding and implementing security policies and requirements
- Designing scalable and high-availability solutions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop automated solutions using Azure/AWS and private cloud technologies
